Machines that only work when you understand them
TP Technical is an independent game studio. Our Android puzzles are about machines. Players connect gears, route power through circuits and balance moving parts until the whole contraption runs.
Every TP Technical puzzle obeys consistent physical rules, so a solution is something a player works out rather than stumbles upon. There are no timers, so there is always room to experiment.
Parts list
A TP Technical level hands the player a fixed set of components and a goal. Learning what each component does, and how components affect each other, is the whole game.
Consistent simulation
Gears, levers and currents in TP Technical games behave the same way every time. If a machine fails, replaying the run shows exactly which part caused it.
Bench testing
Each board is run on low-memory Android phones to confirm that animations stay smooth and that a half-built machine is kept when the app is closed.
Learning curve
Early TP Technical levels introduce one new component at a time. Later boards combine familiar parts in unfamiliar ways, so difficulty grows from understanding rather than from memorising a long list of pieces.
Replay and inspect
After a machine runs, players can slow the replay down and step through it frame by frame to see how motion or power travelled from one part to the next.
Installed machines
